happy fall yall

September 22, 2004

The weekend began a week ago. Because of Ivan school was canceled, to which I would like to attribute the following:

Ricko and I take off to Jax where we premiere the Tennessee 2003 video then rock some Bootie while watching Ghost Dog (amazing movie!) and ultimately pick up my brother Travis and Puk.

Wescott Foam Party

With a minivan now at our disposal, we return to Tallahassee just in time for the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Q&A with Dave Willis & Dana Snyder. After this amazing session we find the picture to the right at the FSU website. You are seeing the Wescott building at school. (Yes that is foam) We go there and as we approach we see 4 people in the fountain and a handful of cop cars.

Cop: Bye!
Us: Do we need to leave?
Cop: No, but there are rules.
Us: So we can play in the fountain?
Cop: Yes but there are rules. If I catch anyone climbing on the fountain I'm gonna make you stand in a circle over there and sing Kumbaya

ridiculous

After a long night of super-bathing we hit up the China Star, rob the flea market, and eventually journey to a beautiful canopied area of Tallahassee.

Sunday takes us to Sunland where we trek through eerie halls and across the squishy roof.

Again to Jax to return it’s belongings and print covers for the DVDs.

Back to Tallahassee, back to school, back here and there’s this.

Good news folks: blank DVDs finally showed up in the mail today
Bad news folks: They suck. I’ve gotta wait at least another week to try to get some better media so I can get you all good copies of the video. Sorry to those who have ordered and are waiting.

To everyone who has asked me if I’ve seen Nip/Tuck: I watched that mess tonight. I must say that I do not find it pleasing. Here are some of my favorites:

"Here, listen to this XM radio."

"Zennis, a Zen approach to Tennis"

Further investigation into this Zennis crap lead me to this. It’s a real concept. Damn.

You know how things, when you hear them for the first time, they seem as though they are being drilled into your brain so you can't ever forget what it is that you learned? Well the whole Alanis Morisette "Ironic" thing, about none of those things in the song being ironic, yeah that's been haunting me lately. In case conversations where it comes up weren't enough, Zach Braff has mentioned it.

I would like to take a moment to say a few words for O’Malley’s gay lover/doppelganger. I saw ol’ Crackerjack on the side of the road first thing this morning. Sad. Death on the first day of fall. I wonder is cats can miss each other.
